Description
Wilderness On Wheels is an accessible 22-acre mountain facility near Kenosha Pass. We have boardwalks for hiking, an accessible pond with rainbow trout, and overnight accommodations. Built with accessibility in mind, our facility is open to everyone. We are open for day trips 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm. We also have overnight stays that you can reserve on our website (cabins, huts, and tents).
Wilderness On Wheels is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and when you visit and leave a donation, you are supporting equal access to nature.
Our facility is open to everyone, and we look forward to seeing you! Our open season is May through October. More details on our website.
Cellular service: Verizon seems the most likely to have a signal here but guests have reported other carriers work as well.
Campfires: this is dependent on whether or not Park County has issued a fire ban. Feel free to call us to inquire!
Electric hookups: Some sites have electric capabilities and can also accommodate camper vans and RVs. Visit website or call to inquire.
