Description
Perched near the crest of Cumbres Pass in the Rio Grande National Forest, this large gravel roadside pullout sits at roughly 10,400 feet with open, long-range views that earn their keep at sunrise and sunset. The area is spacious enough to accommodate rigs of any size, though the surface is mostly sloped with only one reliably level section. A small fire ring is on-site, and the gravel access road (FR 118) keeps the approach straightforward for high-clearance and larger vehicles alike.
