We did a drive through
We came here to picnic & did a drive through when we were done. The sites are attractive & you can reserve them. Some had electricity according to the Forest Service site. It said some toilets were flush, but I only saw vaults. No showers. Water might be an issue too, so fill up before you come in. I used a vault by the picnic area & the host had just cleaned it.
The road to get here is graded gravel & really not too bad. We saw some larger rigs, so people do manage it. There's a path around the lake, some of it's board walked. It wasn't too busy on a Friday, mid afternoon. There's good fishing according to a guy my husband talked to.
This was my favorite lake of the Red Feathers. We visited Bellaire Lake Campground, no overnight stay.
