Yellow Post Sites — FR 2N80 (San Bernardino NF)

Description

Deep in the San Bernardino National Forest above Big Bear Lake, these 13 designated yellow-post sites are scattered across the forested terrain around FR 2N80 near Little Bear Peak, with open views and genuine seclusion for the area. The approach runs mostly paved before transitioning to dirt track; high-clearance trucks are recommended, though 4WD is not strictly required in dry conditions. Many of the surrounding fire roads see seasonal closures in winter months, so access is most reliable from late spring through fall.
