Description
Wonder Valley is a wide, open high-desert basin just northeast of Joshua Tree National Park, and this BLM flat sits roughly 300 meters off Amboy Road on firm, packed sand — straightforward 2WD access with room to spread out or pull well back from the road. A rock fire ring marks the area, but the defining quality here is space: expansive valley views, mountain backdrop, and very little traffic after dark. It's an easy 20-minute drive to the Joshua Tree north entrance, making it a practical base for park days.
