White Rock Lake

Fishing and water sports enthusiasts will find White Rock Lake positioned in the Sierra Nevada foothills, requiring high-clearance vehicles to navigate the water crossing that blocks access during winter months. This free camping area accommodates roughly 10 vehicle sites with a 15-foot RV length limit, making it suitable for smaller rigs and off-road trailers.

Campers can fish the lake, explore hiking and biking trails in the surrounding area, or launch kayaks from the shoreline. A fire permit is required for campfires, and the remote location means preparing for self-sufficient camping. For those wanting easier access, Webber Lake Campground provides developed facilities without the challenging approach road.
