Description
Open Mojave high-desert BLM land west of Death Valley, this pullout sits sheltered behind a prominent rock formation along the Talc City Road corridor at around 5,150 feet — noticeably cooler than the valley floor. The rock screens campers from passing traffic, and the surrounding terrain opens up to wide desert views, snow-capped peaks on the horizon in winter, and exceptional stargazing after dark. Access off the main road is short and straightforward for most vehicles including large rigs, with room for multiple parties and pre-existing fire rings on site.
