Description
Spangler Hills is a rolling expanse of BLM desert terrain in the Mojave, managed out of the Ridgecrest Field Office and flanked by Teagle Wash to the west — OHV country with wide-open camping spread across sandy washes and low hills. The access road is unpaved and sandy in stretches; a 4x4 sign marks the entry, though the spot closest to the road offers a flat pull-off suitable for cautious drivers and rigs up to 30 feet. Weekends draw a lively mix of ATVs, campervans, and RVs, while weeknights tend to be quiet and uncrowded.
