Snake Lake Campground

Within Plumas National Forest, Snake Lake Campground operates as a Forest Service facility that accommodates RVs up to 25 feet with water hookups available. The campground sits in a forested setting near the lake, roughly 15 minutes from Quincy by road. Sites cost $15 per night and welcome pets.

Scott R. noted the campground's accessibility and variety of activities, mentioning hiking, off-road vehicle use, and fishing opportunities from the adjacent water. For campers wanting more amenities, R&R RV Park at Feather River Hot Springs provides full hookups about three miles north.

Great place to camp

Great place to camp. Easy to get to, maybe 15 minutes from town. Hiking, 4 wheeling, fishing. One of my favorite places to camp.
