Sawtooth Sky Camp

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Drive-in access and open desert terrain define Sawtooth Sky Camp, a drive-in campground near Daggett, California, priced at $20 to $30 per night. Sites are spread out enough to provide separation between neighbors. No water is available on-site, so campers should arrive fully stocked. Cell service is limited. The dark skies draw stargazers, and the open sightlines toward the surrounding desert make early mornings and evenings worth planning around. Nearby, Sawtooth Canyon Campground and Ord Mountain Dispersed offer additional options for those extending their stay in the area.

Beautiful sunrises and sunsets

If you're looking for peace, wide-open desert views, and amazing sunrises and sunsets, Sawtooth Canyon is a great place to camp. The campsites are spread out enough to enjoy some privacy, and the night sky is incredible for stargazing. It's a perfect spot to relax, explore the surrounding desert, and disconnect from the busy city. Be sure to bring plenty of water, as there are limited services nearby, but that's part of what makes this place feel so remote and peaceful. I'd definitely visit again.
