Los Banos Campground Information:
- Max RV length of 25’.
- The park gate closes at 6 p.m. Please check in before or call the entrance kiosk before 6 p.m. The park locks the campground gate in the winter from 6-6. In the summer, the gate is locked from 10-6. Kiosk phone number: 209-826-6393
Due to potential construction work to a Safety of Dams Project, the Basalt Campground will be off the reservation system beginning February 16, 2022, and will remain off the reservation system for a considerable period of time. Please check the web periodically for any updates.

San Luis Reservoir SRA is restricted to an occupancy limit of (30) thirty days, in total by the same person, equipment, or vehicles in any calendar year. The thirty (30) day limit resets on January 1 of a new calendar year. No persons, equipment, or vehicles shall occupy a campsite(s) for more than fourteen (14) consecutive days in any campground. For group camps, stays are limited to seven (7) nights.
Effective January 1, 2027, visitors who want to reserve Group Camp A or Group Camp B should contact the Rancho San Luis Sector Office at 209-826-1196, Tuesday-Thursday, to reserve these sites under Special Event designation.
