Description
Along the western slope of Sequoia National Forest, a mixed Sierra forest corridor holds this gravel-road pullout roughly 50 meters from a waterfall on Nobe Young Creek — close enough that the sound of rushing water carries through the night. The access road has washboards and scattered rocks but is manageable in a standard passenger vehicle; the pullout itself is sized for tents and vans rather than larger rigs. Fire restrictions have applied to this area, including stove use, so check current regulations with the Kern River Ranger District before building a fire.
