Description
Lassen National Forest opens up into a spread of quiet pull-offs along the forest service road just west of Lassen Volcanic National Park, sitting at roughly 5,100 feet in mixed conifer terrain. Multiple spots accommodate rigs of varying sizes, and the access roads are in good shape for easy entry. Note that a free permit is required for any open flame — campfires, camp stoves, and grills alike — and cell signal holds at a usable level throughout the day.
