About Horse Camp
10 units, with space available for trailers Reservations available through www.recreation.gov Click here for photo tour Bald Rock Trailhead, which ties to the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail, is adjacent to campground. ACTIVITIES Camping: 10 units - Reservations accepted through Recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777 Sites are available on a first come, first served basis in campgrounds available for reservation through www.recreation.gov. Campers without reservations will be required to find a new site if the site they occupy on a first-come basis is reserved. Site availability is not guaranteed. No Services after October 1st, No Fee's until May or June. Fishing: Only with a valid fishing license Hiking: The Lakeshore trail provides hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding opportunities around the lake. The southern portion of the trail drops below the high water mark in order to avoid crossing private land. Horseback riding is permitted on the northern portion of the Lakeshore trail only. Horseback Riding: Horseback riding is permitted on the northern portion of the Lakeshore trail only. Recreational Vehicles: Trailer space is available Swimming Horse Camping: Horse Camp offers 10 sites that accommodate horses
