Good spot
Grassy, and has nice shade. Nice water station to wash dishes.
Stay across the street at Jedediah
This campsite did the trick in a pinch , but it was truly one of my least favorite experiences. We had a full hook up, but we’re unable to choose our site and we’re put directly next to the highway. We were also right next to the gas station which resulted in a ton of noise. There was also a sewage smell that no one could pin down where it was coming from that was unavoidable when outside.
The most concerning part of our state was that over the four nights, the bathrooms were not cleaned once. This was evident as the same shit explosion that remained on the toilet seat the entire time we stay there. As well as the hair in the sink that lingered for the entire four days and no refill on the paper towels or soap dispenser that were out.
The showers were coin operated which was disappointing, but the water was hot. They’re also codes for the bathroom and laundry room. We were placed next to lifers and the sites themselves were quite small. Sadly, we were the only site without a fire ring that had a grill top. For some reason this one was only cinderblocks that we’re not large enough to contain our firewood. No Verizon and ATT went in and out.
For the pros: there was reliable and usable Wi-Fi. It was incredibly close to Jedediah state park. Lastly, the staff sent out a great email listing out a ton of options in the area for hiking eating etc.
Having walked around Jedediahs campsite, it is far far far superior to this RV stay. I would highly recommend checking out a Campsite there if possible. This campsite is incredibly close to Jedediah and honestly that’s its only benefit.

Near Redwood Forest
Decent site to stay. We stopped and stayed for 1 night to see the redwoods. It's very close and the staff was nice. Amenities and camp ground were good, but with 3 kids not much for them to do at the rv site itself. Rv parking spots were smaller then the previous we have stayed on our road trip. They did have coin operated laundry area near the office as well as bathrooms and showers (I believe they were coin operated aswell, but I didn't use them since we had our RV) around the resort. One of the bigger issues we had was that they placed us next to a person who stays there long term. Unfortunately they had planters that made it difficult for us to park and detach our trailer/toy hauler. One thing that was really nice was the wifi. Unlike some other places we've been it worked throughout the entire rv site without issue. Overall great place to stay and explore the redwoods.
Gas station is near the entrance. They close and lock their pumps up so make sure to check the hours. They also have a Cafe across the street that's open during the morning.

Great Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park Camp
Great RV resort in Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park. Very clean and nice sized RV and Tent sites.
Great Northern CA Redwood Spot
Great location in heart of Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park with easy access to the Smith River. Very clean and medium spacious RV sites. We stayed in the C loop and had our own picnic table and fire ring. Host was able to get two spots next to each other so our two trailers were together. Price was very reasonable.
Perfect Location for Redwood Adventure
Originally planned to stay for 4 days but ended up extending the trip a few extra days. Management was extremely helpful, polite, and accommodating. We were lucky to have a beautiful and secluded site. The campground is half a mile away from Jedediah State Park and the Smith River. 15 minutes from Crescent City and a short drive to Brookings. The spots can be a little tricky to get into and those with larger rigs should contact the management office to ensure they can fit and maneuver properly but we saw plenty of huge Class As and triple axle 5th wheels. Cell phone coverage is spotty but they offer wifi and it allowed us a good chance to disconnect. The campground is far enough inland way from the coast that the marine layer burned off much quicker so we had beautiful sunny days with a nice cool breeze.
