Granite Pass Dispersed Roadside Camping — Mojave National Preserve
Reviewed Nov. 6, 2022

Quiet, secluded and lots of stars!

We camped in the granite pass area, at a small previously established site with a fire ring, at the end of the established road. Gate nearby closing off entrance to a research site. Also a hiking trail that leaves from just behind where we camped. Road was narrow and dirt with a few tricky spots but our 2WD van got out here no problem. Only saw one other car on a Saturday night. Beautiful sunset!!
