Cow Mountain BLM Dispersed near Red Mountain Campground

Cow Mountain's flanks in the BLM's Ukiah Field Office hold a turnout at the end of roughly 1.5 miles of rough dirt road, opening onto open views and genuine quiet after dark. The spot fits one or two vehicles comfortably — vans included — and the surrounding terrain is active OHV country. The access track rewards high-clearance rigs and can be punishing when wet, so dry conditions are strongly advisable.
