Chirpchatter Campground

Water access and forest setting make Chirpchatter Campground a base for lake recreation and woodland exploration. Located within Shasta National Forest, this US Forest Service facility operates year-round with sites accommodating RVs up to 24 feet. The rough access road requires careful navigation, particularly for larger rigs.

Forested terrain provides natural shade while maintaining proximity to lake activities. Campers seeking additional options can explore places to camp around Round Mountain. Moore Creek Campground sits 5.2 miles west for those preferring different amenities.
