Lovely out-of-the-way campground located at the end of a twisting one lane road through the redwoods. About half of the campsites are located on a steep forested hill, while the rest are adjacent to a large field of high grass in a valley. On the evening of my visit, many deer could be seen in the field.

Bathrooms are single occupancy. The ADA accessible bathrooms have sinks with high-flow faucets that continue to flow without needing to be held down or repeatedly pressed, while the smaller bathrooms have no sinks. None of the bathrooms offer paper towels or hand dryers, however.
