From Carefree, take Cave Creek Road/Forest Road (FR) 24 for 18 miles north to Seven Springs. The last 9 miles of FR 24 is an all weather gravel road. The gravel portion of the road is narrow with blind curves.

Mostly primative, has an Outhouse with covered picnic area on concrete.

We were married at Seven Spring on April 22, 1995 at a four day campout. We had about 20 to 30 people with us, and we had a blast! Best Earth Day ever, while be married in the national forest!

We packed in all of our stuff, and we made sure that we packed all of it out! Made sure the campfires were cold and wet as could be!

Nice camping

In my previous post, I didn’t review the camp ground, we drove past the campground into the wilderness about 10 miles past the actual campsites. When we went past the campground site it did look nice, with plenty of amenities.

Dispersed camping

This driving trail is rated moderate. We were up there April 19-20th. We took our stock 2018 Jeep Wrangler Jk. We made it, but it took 6 hours at a crawl. Pretty rough in many spots. We drove until we ran out of road then camped off FR 37 off of FR 41. Then made our way down the next day.

This is a nice primitive campground

We have camped here in the spring. Nice hikes in the area and a great place to get away while it is cool
