Queen Creek Canyon

Rock crawlers with technical driving experience will find Queen Creek Canyon accessible via the Montana Mountain Loop, though the approach requires moderate off-road skills. This dispersed camping area spreads sites across the canyon with adequate spacing between setups. Cell service reaches the area, allowing connectivity despite the remote location.

The terrain demands careful navigation, particularly for those unfamiliar with rock crawling techniques. Campers can access the area from North Correro Road as an alternative route, though conditions from that direction remain unverified. For additional supplies or services, consider camping near Superior before heading into the backcountry.

Rock Crawling but Beautiful View

This is for experienced offroad drivers with rock crawl experience. If you rock crawl a lot, this is minimally technical. I came in from the Queen Creek Canyon off the Montana Mountain Loop, and that was pretty moderate rock crawling. I have not gone from the North Correro Road entrance, so unsure of terrain coming from that direction.

There is cell service and spacious, spread apart camp sites with beautiful views.
