Perfect overnight stop on Route 66

We arrived at the perfect time, 5pm.   The Cella Winery was open until 6pm on this Sunday in March.   I believe we were the 2nd customer of the day at the winery and the only overnight camper.  I believe they only support parking for two campers.   The highlight of any stay here would be a visit to the wine tasting room.  The camping is a simple gravel parking lot next to a small vineyard.   As the only customer at the time the host was very friendly and did a great job in introducing the wines available.  We ended up purchasing a few bottles.    After a long day of travel from our home in Southern California this was a great stopping point on our trip to the Grand Canyon.  The following day, we continued to drive Route 66 and enjoyed the Burma Shave signposts along the route.   Staying at Cella Winery gave us a good excuse to leave the interstate and enjoy Route 66 for a few hours.  Highly recommended.
