Description
Interior Alaska's broad subalpine flats stretch out near Donnelly, where the Alaska Range fills the horizon and the quiet is genuine. This roadside pullout off the Richardson Highway corridor sits at roughly 2,400 feet elevation, with Donnelly Dome rising to the northeast and Weasel Lake tucked within a mile and a half to the northwest. No internet or cell signal reaches the site, making for an uncommonly still overnight stop on one of Alaska's great road corridors.
