Description
Deep in the boreal interior of Alaska's BLM public lands, this spot sits on a low rise above Swampbuggy Lake roughly a quarter mile from the Denali Highway corridor. A narrow spur road ends in a turnaround at a fire-ring site edged by fireweed — open sky, a lakeside outlook, and the kind of quiet that central Alaska does well. The access track is narrow but the turnaround area accommodates larger rigs.
