Parks Highway (AK 3) Riverside Gravel Pit Dispersed

A broad gravel flat along the George Parks Highway (AK 3) in interior Alaska's boreal corridor, positioned directly on a river with several spots close enough that the current drowns out highway noise. Multiple fire rings are scattered across the area, which opens up enough space for a dozen or more vehicles — though the entry off the highway drops steeply, making it a poor fit for long trailers or large motorhomes. Vans and shorter rigs handle it well.
