Nenana River Cliffside Dispersed — George Parks Hwy

Description

The cliff edge above the Nenana River canyon holds this exposed high-clearance pullout, delivering commanding views of the river and the broad valley below — earned by a rough, narrow trail that demands respect in any weather. The access track squeezes through dense brush and hugs the cliff face all the way to the end; low-range gearing and solid ground clearance are essential, and even compact, narrow-profile rigs should expect a tight squeeze. After rain the trail becomes significantly more demanding, and the approach is not recommended for anything larger than a small 4x4.
