Just off the Denali Highway (AK 8) corridor in interior Alaska, this pair of pullouts sits in open subarctic terrain near Maclaren Summit, with broad views of the surrounding highland landscape. Two separate spots are available — one closer to the road and one set slightly farther back, where a small fire ring is present and road noise is less pronounced. Traffic on the highway can be disruptive during peak season, making shoulder-season visits the quieter bet.
