crow creek mine & campground

Three miles up a dirt road, Crow Creek Mine & Campground sits adjacent to a historic gold mine where visitors can pan for gold. The site mix runs from tent spots to a handful of larger RV pads, though rigs over 28 to 30 feet will have trouble on the access road. Reservations are required online; walk-ins are not accepted. Campers exploring camping spots around Girdwood will find this one of the more historically grounded stops in the area. The mine next door gives the campground a distinct draw beyond a basic overnight stay.

rustic and historic

Tent sites up to a few larger RV sites. 3 miles up a dirt road. Historic mine next door where you can pan for gold. 28-30' is probably the largest rig you want to take there. No walk ins, online reservation only.
