We stayed in the Antioch loop on site 93. The site was super close to 92 and 94. We felt we had no personal space. A couple kept walking through our campsite to get to a boat they had parked at our site. I love rustic but Antioch was not rustic, it was over grown and did not look maintained. We…

Spent a wonderful few days here with the wife and kids (which are canine, btw). Well kept grounds, superb staff and a lot to do in the great outdoors. Several campsites on the lakefront with great views. And there's an island full of armadillos.

This campground has 2 loops. Catoma which has concrete pads and some shade. Antioch is gravel pads but very shady!!!! It's more close to nature!!! I highly recommend the Antioch Loop!!!
Very clean, quiet campground. The campsites were a little less private than we prefer, but if that’s not an issue for you, this is probably a great spot. Campsites #1 and #2 seemed to be the most secluded. Lovely little nature trail and a playground for the kids. Beautiful lake view right off our…

Beautiful spot for hiding in the dark and peeking at other campers.
Great place for a quick stop.
This was one of the better parks on this trip. Most sites are on the water and with great views of the lake. We chose #2 which was great. Site 1 was a good ways away, behind us so to speak, and to our door side was a good expanse of trees & brush. Site #3 was barely visible. There are about 8…
This place is amazing. Free food free showers and free cabins you cannot be that. It is Christian based but they do not bother you if your not into that. They have a science centre and all kinds of activities. If you have kids you must go camping here. You will not regret it.
Nice park. There is still some tree down from storms. And there were tons of ant. We even pretreated around the site and at any part of the camper that touched the ground and we still got ants. They said they are an invasive species from Argentina and were going to be having a specialized treatment…
We needed a place in a pinch since we got on the road in the afternoon. Spoke with a very nice man on the phone (Jim Scott if memory serves me) who directed us to book online... $18 for the night and we had running water, a fire pit, and a decent little plot overlooking a section of the Alabama…
We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend so it was very busy, even with some rain showers.
We stayed at site 23 for 3 nights. this site is located next to the boat ramp and parking lot so there was a lot of traffic. It’s next to the water but 3-4 feet above the water line and blocked by bushes…
This place is close to my house, I enjoy camping here and also renting their trailers. Plenty of beautiful nature to enjoy, the lake is beautiful, very clean and well-kept oh, a playground for the littles overlooking the lake, walking trails, fishing, never had a negative experience.
So nice. Many sites right on the water. Quiet and well equipped. Weather was perfect for a fire right next to the river. Fire ring, charcoal grill, flat paved sites...perfect for this 24' RV.
Nice small camp ground only about 25 sites most are directly on the lake.... full hook ups and has a bathhouse and a laundry room. There’s a playground close by and some walking trails....we enjoy it and will go back.
