Very nice set up, kid friendly. We are enjoying our stay. 😍
Sherling Lake is owned by the city of Greenville. It's located right next to the beautiful Cambrian Ridge Golf Course which is a beautiful Championship course and part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The campground has water and electricity hook up along with a dump station and a very clean…
This is everything I want in a campground except it has no sewer sites. Flat campground that is easily walkable and can ride bikes. Two of the three bathhouses are well maintained. The bathhouse at the dump station is in Bad need of repairs. Most sites have water views and access. They have laundry…
Amazing place to be never a bad experience in 24 years great fishing great sites. 15 minutes from the next town and it’s small perfect get away.
This place is amazing. Free food free showers and free cabins you cannot be that. It is Christian based but they do not bother you if your not into that. They have a science centre and all kinds of activities. If you have kids you must go camping here. You will not regret it.
Clean sites nice and quiet.
Very nice. Roomy. Clean. Many nice sites. Nicely wooded and a lot of water views. Great for water/fishing/boating activities. Only drawback is no sewer hookup but dump station on-site

Full hook ups but not a relaxed vibe due to parking lot configuration
We needed a place in a pinch since we got on the road in the afternoon. Spoke with a very nice man on the phone (Jim Scott if memory serves me) who directed us to book online... $18 for the night and we had running water, a fire pit, and a decent little plot overlooking a section of the Alabama…
We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend so it was very busy, even with some rain showers.
We stayed at site 23 for 3 nights. this site is located next to the boat ramp and parking lot so there was a lot of traffic. It’s next to the water but 3-4 feet above the water line and blocked by bushes…
It used to be an awesome campground before the new owners took over, yes the new people have improved the place a lot and has made it a lot prettier, but unless you have a camper or RV your pretty much Sol. They offer a free primitive spot for tints but it's not the greatest pretty much maybe a…
So nice. Many sites right on the water. Quiet and well equipped. Weather was perfect for a fire right next to the river. Fire ring, charcoal grill, flat paved sites...perfect for this 24' RV.
I think the pics are of a different place
We arrived late to the campground, super friendly campground hosts were more than happy to accomodate us. The campground was clean and tucked away behind trees. Lots of privacy and we even had our own pier out to the water behind our campsite. Would definitely recommend planning ahead because…
