Rough access roads lead into this established campground outside Leesburg, Alabama, where nightly rates run $19 to $30. Drive-in and walk-in sites are both available, and the campground covers the basics: drinking water, showers, flush toilets, picnic tables, and firewood for purchase. Campfires are permitted, pets are welcome, and ADA-accessible facilities are on site. Reservations can be made in advance, which is worth considering given the limited nearby alternatives. Cherokee Rock Village sits just to the southeast for campers weighing options in the area.
Description
As one of the most beautiful campgrounds in Alabama, Cherokee Rock Village features more than 100 primitive tent sites along with 15 primitive RV-accessible sites that can accommodate units up to 40 feet in length. Fire pits and nearby picnic tables are included at each site. While many campsites may be reserved in advance, a designated tent-only section remains available on a first-come, first-served basis at $19 per night.

For guest comfort, a heated bathhouse is centrally located near the pavilion, providing convenient access from campsites throughout the park.
