Windy!

This place is windy! I pulled in late at night after a full day of driving from the west. There's not a lot of easy to find camping in this part of Oklahoma besides RV parks.

There were plenty of spots available, it was a little confusing figuring out which entrance to use, there are several within one block of each other. I ended up driving onto a golf course accidentally!

You have to pay at the entrance, there is a drop box. I think it was about $10 or $12 when I visited.

The biggest issue was the wind. I have a rooftop tent, and the wind was blowing approximately 30 to 40 mph gusts the night I was there. After about 15 minutes, I was afraid the tent would collapse on me. I actually ended up sleeping in the driver's seat of my van instead.

If the wind wasn't so crazy, it seems like it would be a pretty decent place to stay. There's a couple of nice ponds that look like good fishing.

If you're driving through Oklahoma and need a place to stop for the night, it should work for you, but just check the weather first. If the wind is bad, I don't recommend tent camping or rooftop tents at all at this site.
