Great location!

My sister and I stayed here after we couldn’t get a site at Jenny Lake. They have a ton of tent sites so the odds of nabbing a one is high. We got in line on a Friday morning around 7:15 and we were lucky enough to grab one of the last 20 sites available. Check in line was slow (we were in line for 3 hrs) but site was good! There is potable water, bathrooms are clean, and trash/recycling are readily available.

It’s a quick 5 min walk to the lake to stargaze or play in the water. Same amount of time to walk to the general store/visitor center. I have Verizon and didn’t have much service anywhere. General store has free WiFi and you’ll see a bunch of people in front or under the trees at the picnic tables on their phones. Free drinking water is available by spigot at the general store and the gas station on the main road.

I would recommend and stay here again. We didn’t spend much time at the campsite so it did the trick for a few days.
