Description
Above Lily Lake in the Shoshone National Forest, this sheltered site tucks against a rocky knoll with open views toward the Beartooth range on one side and a forest slope dropping toward the lake on the other. A short downhill walk reaches the water's edge — grizzly bear country in every sense, with sightings reported at the lake. The site is level with a mix of shade and open sky, and a fire ring is on-site.
