Description
High in the Shoshone National Forest near the Beartooth Highway (US 212), this dispersed corridor sits in the shadow of Bird Mountain in prime grizzly bear country — remote, off-grid, and entirely without cell service. A rough two-track off the main dirt road leads to roughly ten fire rings spaced along its length, with the most secluded camping at the far end. The access demands 4WD and high clearance; even well-built rigs can find the surface unforgiving, and trailers should seek flatter alternatives nearby.
