Sitting beside a boat launch in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, Waupee Flowage is a small dispersed site with picnic tables and direct lake access for fishing and kayaking. Space is limited. Campers with rigs over 10 feet will need to look elsewhere, and the site can fill when nearby options are taken. Nelligan Lake sits about a mile southeast for those needing a fallback. This spot makes the most sense for solo campers or small groups who arrive when campgrounds around Mountain are running at capacity.
