Mount Baker Ski Area

Two roadside pullouts sit just below Heather Meadows along the Mount Baker Ski Area corridor, one flat against the curve, the other up a short hill with shade tree cover and access to a cross-country ski route. No water, no toilets, no trash service. Campfires are permitted. Campers wanting facilities can drive up to Heather Meadows, which also serves as the trailhead hub for the area's hiking network. For other dispersed options nearby, Mt. Baker NF Dispersed off NF 3075 near Artist Point is less than a mile south.

Spot near Mt Baker Ski Area

This is true dispersed camping near the Mt. Baker Ski area and Heather Meadows. Two spots one right off the road on the curve, the other is just up the hill. I opted for the latter, plenty of shade trees and it’s right off of a cross country ski route. You’re 10 minutes from the Heather Meadows with all of its hiking trails. No trash, no toilets, no water. If you decide you need trash and toilets you could drive up the road to heather meadows. There are some bee boxes nearby but who doesn’t love bees
