The private campsite is nestled among towering evergreens and set back from the road, providing a quiet, secluded place to unwind after a day of adventure. Gather around the fire pit (when seasonal fire restrictions allow), take in the territorial views, listen to birdsong, and, during blackberry season, enjoy the abundance of wild blackberries growing throughout the property.

Goldfinch Retreat is an ideal basecamp for outdoor enthusiasts. The property is just a short drive from multiple public access points along the Kalama River, offering excellent opportunities for fishing, kayaking, wildlife viewing, and simply enjoying one of Washington's most beautiful free-flowing rivers.

Hunters, hikers, and overlanders will also appreciate the property's proximity to Weyerhaeuser recreation lands. If you have a valid Weyerhaeuser Recreation Permit, you'll have convenient access to thousands of acres of managed timberland for hiking, hunting, wildlife viewing, and exploring.

This is a rural property surrounded by working timberlands. You may occasionally see or hear logging trucks traveling on the county road during daylight hours. The campsite itself is set back from the road and offers a private setting.

Campfires are permitted only when local fire restrictions allow.
