Our 1st KOA stay

1st of all, this was our 1st KOA stay and I am amazed at how easy it was to book online. It was beyond easy and everything was confirmed via email. We arrived about an hour after sunset so i followed the instructions for late check-in our paperwork was easy to find In the late check-in box and we were quickly on our way to our site. We had pull through site so even that was easy and even though it was dark the lighting was very pleasant without being too bright. During the brief time it took to set up our rv, my in-laws my wife and I were very pleased to realise that although we were so close to the highway, there was very little to no highway noise. The park is very quiet and comfortable so we were able to enjoy a very comfortable night's rest. We woke the next morning to a very pleasant view of the mountains to the North and the South from our site. Athough we didn't stay for more than a few hours in the morning, we were able to take the time for short walk around the park and even a short hike up the mountain side just South East of our site. The park is very well kept, neat and clean without being/feeling sterile. I was a little bit disappointed that the bathrooms and showers were closed For renovation/remodelling It was probably noted on their website however it was obviously overlooked by me. I wish we had more time to stay. We will be more than happy to stay here again on our next trip In this area but we hope to be able to stay longer next time.
