This spot is pretty darn hot and pretty remote. It is first come first served, so it would be quite a long way down to find there were no open spots (but it is the only way.) The Ranger here is nice. Your ice will melt on the first day if you don't have a real, heavy-duty cooler. Your toddlers will not like this place, nor will anyone who is not prepared for desert camping. It is called echo park for a spectacular reason...so watch your noises.
