Serene Sanctuary

This is a hidden gem in the mountains west of Santiago in Baja California Sur. Located near the little Rio San Dionisio, it offers a community kitchen, shower, composting toilets, hiking trails, organic garden, running water, and a wonderful laid-back vibe. All run by solar. Popular with international travelers and local families. It’s run by a guy named Clarence from Colorado who keeps it running very smoothly. It’s a 45-minute drive on a dirt road but passable with 2wd. Not good for big rigs.
