Overnight
Stopped for the night on the way through. Nice gravel pull through. Clean and well kept campground.

It’s very clean and fun things to do for the kids
The sites are distributed with in a landscape that allows them to be terraced and therefore nicely separated
Last min we were able to make a reservation for a few nights and we got spot #10. Very easy to back into with a 28 ft trailer , perk is that we had no one on one side of us - but it does bump up close to the road , so you do get quite a bit of traffic noise . Bathrooms were very clean and nice showers . Love the little store on site - they had a wide variety of things you need for camping , clothing , snacks , etc . Staff was helpful and friendly .
I should have gotten one of their little cabins...they look cozy and they are right next to the primitive camping.
I checked in after hours and its a little confusing as to where I can park my car back here. I am next to a sign that says cars aren't allowed beyond this point, but I see another group who have their car... beyond said point. There's a water spigot behind the sign, so perhaps its just meant as a warning so drivers don't crash into it.
The sound of people's wood cracking in their fire is stressing my retired greyhound dog out, but he's never been around camp fires before.
Place seems nice enough in general.
They have a little dog park... that's cool.
And I have two bars of 5G service through T-Mobile.
This KOA Journey is by far, a wonderful place to stay. They have a beautiful location, clean and well maintained facilities and super great helpful staff! I would give 10 stars.
Well maintained with Pleasant people. Excellent Wi-Fi. Spots are easy to get in and out of. Although ours was not very level at all. Just not the prettiest place. But a good place to stay.
Friendly Staff, Clean Bathrooms, Convenient Location. No honeywagon for water and electric only sites, but dump station in campground. Some very nice private sites and none of the sites except maybe a few look very small or tight- pretty spread out. Lots of tent sites. You definitely hear the highway here, but not a big concern for us. Pet friendly with a very nice dog park. Pool for the kids. Playground is little more than a residential style wood swingset, but it kept the kids entertained.
We are KOA fans, the sites and staff are typically always nice. Small back in, but reasonably priced for what I got. Great location, very quiet!
Stayed here for one night after buying our new camper from camping world. Arrived after hours. Check in paperwork was waiting by the office door. Easy to follow map the the site. Never disappointed when I stay at a KOA.
This is a KOA that is top of the line. Although it is a “Journey” Park, meaning usually it’s meant for short stays and traveling through, it is a park many would want to stay longer. They have great signage and it was easy to find the park.
We used the KOA app to sign up for a reservation.
They have RV Sites - full and partial hook ups, Cabins, Tent Sites, and lots of activities. The park is clean and well kept. It is quiet at night even being near an interstate. RV Sites are mostly level, there were a few that were not as level.
You are led to your site by staff at the park. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Each RV site has a table and fire ring, some do not have sewer hookups but they use a waitlist system to get full hookups. This was a bummer since we paid for full hookups and we’re currently working, no one called to let us know- we were notified upon checking in. Fortunately we were only visiting the area for 6 days for work, and we know how to boondock well.
They are very pro-pet walking, with very convenient waste disposal and frequent pet waste stations.
Cellular service for AT&T and TMobile we’re both excellent.
The park is full every night and has lots of people in and out daily.
This was the second time staying at this campground. We used the camping cabins. The campground is nice. It has many things to do like a pool, cornhole, horseshoes. The cabins are ok. They have three beds. One double and a set of bunk beds. They have ac as well. They are small but do the job. The mattresses suck.
Nice campground right off the highway, but remote enough to feel like you’re out in the sticks. Tons of trees and lots were large with plenty of parking. Friendly staff and activities while I stayed there.
We used this spot as an overnight stay. They had a lot of things for the kids to do and the grounds were nice. However, it is on a noisy highway so you constantly hear the trucks and cars passing. We had an RV and a tent. They do not allow you to set up the tent on the same site so you have to rent an extra space.
The campground was clean and the people working were very friendly. The sites are very close together so there is not much room to move around or have pets outside. The rates are higher than I would like to pay but you more amenities for the price.
Stay here every time we visit my husbands family. Nice clean place and pool. Ample camp store if you forgot something. close to many amenities ( movie show gasoline and food)
