Want to go to the Beach and camp in Myrtle? This is a beautiful campground with over 300 spots. The camp spots have electric and water hookup. There are a handful of bath houses to choose from. You are situated about a 100 yards from the beach. The beach is beautiful and not as crowded as some of the other beach locations in the heart of Myrtle. There is a Pier with a gift shop where you can buy food and fishing gear and beach paraphernalia. The pier has plenty of spots to fish on with a shelter at the end to stay out of the sun.
The majority of the camp sites have shade from trees. There are a couple hiking trails near by to explore. If you go out of the campground onto highway 17 you can go South or North in any direction a few miles and find restaurants and grocery stores and entertainment. What I like about this campground is it seems like you are in a completely different area than the touristy Myrtle Beach, even though you aren't that far away from all the hustle and bustle. It gives you the sense you are somewhere other than all the light, bells and whistles of Myrtle. It is a beautiful escape. Family friendly.
