SStacey S.ScoutReviewed May. 7, 2018Majestic Pristine Lake Jocassee is the centerpiece of the state park. If you are interested in a deep clear lake with every form of fishing and water sports available, this is your place. I spent a long weekend there several years ago and stayed on the island in the primitive tent sites. When they say primitive, they mean it. I was not allowed to use the shower house on the “mainland” side of the park. I had to take a bath in the very clean but very cool late October water, but hey, that’s primitive. Also took my v16 Alumacraft and an inflatable kayak. There are several waterfalls that feed the lake.Very nice park.ShareReport
