Whitman NF Dispersed off NF Road 21

Open Ponderosa pine country in the Whitman National Forest, this spread of dispersed sites sits along a gravel spur off NF Road 21, just far enough from I-84 to reduce highway noise to background hum. Multiple clearings are scattered up the hillside, several with fire rings; the spots closest to the main gravel road work for larger rigs, while the spur roads climbing higher suit high-clearance vehicles only — the access track has old washouts and ruts that worsen in wet conditions.
