This campground is right off of the highway so you will be hearing road noise all night long. Fortunately, it’s really drowned out by the river that the campground is next to.

The sites are all ok, standard amenities like pit toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables. I wouldn’t go back simply because of how close to the highway this campground is.

There is one really great thing about this campground; it is right next to the trailhead for Tawanamas Falls, a 2.5 out and back (5 miles total) hike to a beautiful waterfall. The campground is only 1/8 of a mile from the trail so you can leave your car/vehicle at the campground.
