Bad water, good dog
First things first the water pump is too close to the toilet and is definitely contaminated.
That being said I went to this campground after reading the other review about the haunting. I was intrigued. Myself, 2 daughters(4&8) their mom and our dog had a work trip to Portland and decided to camp a few nights and found this campground. Upon arriving on a Sunday afternoon there was one group site with a camper at the front of the campground, they left the next day and we were all alone. Hoping to see/ hear/ experience anything we stayed a total of 3 nights. The morning after the second night we drove about 5 minutes down the road to check our phones and get firewood. Our oldest daughter decided she wanted to stick behind with our dog at camp. Not thinking anything of it, we allowed it. We were gone maybe an hour, got back around noon and she was sleeping in the camp chair with the dog tied to the table. She said nobody came through the campground at all while we were gone, BUT, she did see a dog. A random, all black dog, “not too big” just walking around the loop at the end, causing our dog to bark for protection. Our daughter said it didn’t try to get close, just walked around and eventually went away, not seeing where it went off too. We asked if she was scared or felt safe and she said she felt safe and just wanted to sleep in the sun. We(the parents) were absolutely shook for about an hour realizing our daughter just saw a ghost dog. Likely just watching over her and keeping tabs on the place. 10/10 would come back.
P.s. also heard random whistling noises through the night off in the distance during moments of complete silence. Very eerie but really cool if you like that kind of thing.
