Description
Along the north shore of Jubilee Lake in Umatilla National Forest, four established dispersed sites occupy a wooded shoreline corridor just beyond the gate where the service road closes to all mechanized traffic. Sites range from a larger multi-vehicle area near the gate down to a single-car pull-off, with the lake close at hand and tall timber overhead — Forest Service signage notes the sites are unmaintained and cautions campers to watch for widowmakers. A solid fallback when the developed Jubilee Lake Campground nearby is full, though pack-out-only trash and no services are the trade-off.
