The campsite is not as scenic as the drive in. They do not do any upkeep of the sites or the bathrooms. I cleaned up my site before setting up. There is NO WATER. I always pack mine in. I was scheduled for Friday to Monday but left Sunday morning the campers in one of the sites were really loud (screaming hollering) and played their music so loud you could hear it several sites up the mountain away. Even after the quiet time at 10pm they were still yelling. Not talking, yelling. Trash everywhere. Pro For a free site it is a good location for hiking other places not there and going to the beach or drift creek falls. Early morning when everyone is sleeping make a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise..best part of the day. The river is close about .8 mile if you go right on the path you will see an area that has a little rocky area and a thigh high area to sit in the river. My dog and i went there several times. This area is very scenic.
