Kinda a Campground (Use if Necessary)
My wife and I stayed at this backpacking site on the Bartram trail while doing the 50 mile hike over 4 days where we got engaged on the last night of the trip. This was our 2nd night on the trail and was at the end of one the longest hikes we had ever done with that amount of weight. We were exhausted when we got here and were really hoping for a nice site but were not impressed. At first we struggled to figure out if where we were was where the campground was correctly marked on the map. There were no fire pits and there was barely a flat area to set up a tent. In high water you might also be concerned about flooding. But in the end it worked for our purpose since we just needed a place to sleep for the night. If you can make it further and get to the next campground on the map or go a little slower and stay at an earlier site I would suggest it. There is still water available which is nice and we were able to wash off our feet. There were also plenty of trees that we could use to hang our food bag. Overall, not my first choice of sites in the area but it does the trick if you have been hiking over 15 miles and need a place to lay your head.
